The Abici concept

Abici is future memories, a bike in its purest conceptual form, a perfect combination of yesterday and tomorrow, made to use today. The Abici bicycle is handmade in Italy.

Abici bikes are fashionably simple, stripped of needless extras, but equiped with high tech special features. The retro styling and beautiful colors make the Abici a bike that will be noticed!

The Abici history

The Abici bicycle was born in a little taverna in Lombardia, where -over a plate of tortelli and bottle of wine- three friends decided to make their dreams come true. Guiseppe Marcheselli, Stefano Seletti en Cristiano Gozzi used bike brochures of a small Italian craftsman from the fifties as source of inspiration and created their first prototype. This is where the story began...

Delivery

The bicycles are shipped in a cardboard box. You only have to mount the pedals and set the steer to its right height. The tools to do so are included. With the bike you also get easy-to-mount front and back lights (value € 49,50).

The name

In the first place the name refers to "bici": spoken Italian language for "bicicletta". Furthermore the name consists of the first three letters of the alfabet, in Italian pronounced as Aa-Bi-Ci.
