Fitting
All our shirts are cut to a European standard. Your size should be equal to your 'normal' collar size. In case of doubt you can obtain your own sizes. Furthermore: if the size proves to be
incorrect, the shirt can always be returned.
Obtaining your sizes is easy. Below you will find a description how to take measures. Displayed sizes are the sizes of the shirt,
so add a couple of centimetres to your personal measures (see for specification the description below)! What fits best is subject to your personal taste. Worn with a tie, the collar size will be
most important. Worn without a tie or casually, other sizes might be more important to you. Normally collar size is the most used size.
All .IT shirts are so-called 'fitted body' shirts: modernly cut shirts with two darts on the back. Taking into account the ever-increasing average height of men, the shirts are a bit longer than normal. This prevents the unsightly occurrence of an accidental ‘untucking’ of your shirt.
How to obtain your shirt size?
Advice: Use a shirt that fits you well for obtaining your sizes!
Collar size: Place a tape measure around your neck. At the front of your neck allow two fingers to slip easily between your throat and the tape measure. This should allow for a comfortable fit. But this is a guide so allow for personal preference.
Sleeve: The length of your arm, measured from the highest point on the upper side of your sleeve upto (approximately) the upper side of your hands palm.
Chest: The access of your chest, measured at the widest point. The difference between the obtained size and the actual shirt size should be between 8-12 centimetres.
Waist: The access of your waist, measured at the narrowest point. The difference between the obtained size and the actual shirt size should be between 8-12 centimetres.
Hip: The access of your hips, measured at the widest point The difference between the obtained size and the actual shirt size should be between 8-12 centimetres.
Back: The length of your back, measured on the back, starting from the lower part of the collar.
